Outer Space Quilts

My daughter and her husband are moving into a new apartment.  Their two boys will get a bunk bed with stairs (instead of a ladder) and the bottom bunk will be a double bed.  They say that the double bed is great for sleep-overs, but I know that it will be so much more comfortable for the parents falling asleep while putting the boys to sleep! 

I made matching quilts for the new room.  Thank you to Hana for the inspiration and for the special outer space fabrics!  Look for the spaceships, planets, meteors, and astronauts!

Baby Girl Quilt

This one is for sale!  I've been discovering a lot of calm through my quilting, which is a lifesaver during these strange times.  This quilt was made with some fragments of previous quilts and with a bunch of fat quarters that I had in my stash!

New Baby Quilt

Just in the last week, I have gotten orders for 3 crib quilts.  I guess people aren't going out shopping and are looking for ways to buy creative baby gifts!

Here is the first one, all embroidered with the baby's name, and ready to go!

Playmat for Baby Boy

This quilted playmat measures 33 X 36 inches and features blue fabrics cut into 6 inch squares.  The backing is made from quilted nylon ski jacket material.

Pesach Gifts for the Grandchildren!

Finished just in time for Pesach!

Here are matching quilts for Gramma's two youngest grandsons who share a room - all the other grandchildren already have quilts!

In the center, these quilts have a picture of 770 - the Lubavitch headquarters - and a photo of the recipients on the back. The quilts are the same pattern and share some fabrics with one having more blues and the other more greens.

Quilt Cover and Matching Pillowcase

This is our first commission via Elena's store, Etz.lenu b'Hatzer in Abu Ghosh. The order was for a quilt cover and matching pillowcase for a boy's twin bed.

The fabrics and design were chosen in consultation with the customer.
