These two new crib quilts are made with 4 inch squares and are backed with lovely and cozy flannel fabrics.

Purple Placemats

We are gearing up for a springtime fair and are producing a variety of items so that we have lots to show!  Here is a set of placemats.  Based on our scrappy style, each one has a different center!

A Perfect Gift

My friend from the Chesapeake Bay area brought me a package of fabrics that she bought in India.  I quickly got to work and made her a coexistence quilt, combining Bedouin embroidery with some of the fabric that she gave me! 

Here is a close-up on the embroidery, which was made so carefully and so professionally by one of the women who work at the Desert Embroidery non-profit workshop in Laquiya in the northern Negev. 

The finished quilt is the size of a couch quilt, meant to be used as a decorative element on her couch.

More and More

It's fun creating beautiful quilts!  It gives me so much satisfaction and pleasure.  Yes, I am aware that some of my color choices are a "bit over the top" but that's my style!  Hope you like this scrappy couch quilt, featuring blue and orange!

New Baby Quilts

These two new baby quilts have delicious flannel backing!  Both are made from jellyroll fabrics, which means that they are cut to 2 1/2" strips and made into a variety of designs.  Of course, you can buy pre-cut strips in matching color sets.  But I prefer to cut my own strips, mixing and matching sometimes outrageous colors!

Back in the Saddle Again

We've been out of commission for awhile because Amy was traveling and both of us were out of batting!

And Amy's newest couch quilt, made in the scrappy design.  This one has a stunning turquoise backing.
