More Projects integrating Bedouin Embroidery

Here are two items that I recently made --

the first is a wall hanging that i made for my niece's home.  it includes a stunning piece of Bedouin embroidery purchased from the women in Laquiya.

this second item is adapted from an Arab dress that my friends in the Galilee found in a second-hand shop!  I turned it into a covering for the orthopedic pillow on my rocking chair!

It's a Miracle!

We are so grateful and so proud of our daughter's twins, born at Hadassah Ein Kerem!

Here they are covered with Savta's small quilts, keeping them cozy on the day they came home from the hospital!

More Covers for the Shabbat Hot Plate

Here are more examples of quilted shabbat plateh covers!  The first two are simple squares.

This is a changing pad -- based on a log cabin pattern that we found in 101 Log Cabin Blocks by Linda Causee (published 1997).
