It's a Girl!

We just sold this cozy and warm crib quilt (36 X 44") for a baby girl!  It is made of 4 1/2 X 8 1/2" rectangles which are sewn together in an easy pattern.

Baby gifts

We've been quilting for about 10 years and our stash of fabrics has been growing!  Here are four new carriage quilts, made this month, all from fabrics in our stash.

This one is based on the scrappy quilt design --

This is a pinwheel design --

These two are 3 inch and 4 inch squares --

A New Lap Quilt

This lap quilt was made on special order for a friend of my daughter's.  It's in the scrappy style, and mixes stripes with florals and solids.  Aren't the colors bold and wonderful?

It's a Lazy Summer!

This summer, we haven't been making as many quilts as we've been selling!  Here are pictures of the 3 quilts sold this week!

This pinwheel carriage quilt was embroidered with the name "Audrey".

This scrappy crib quilt was sold to a friend of my daughter's as a gift for a one-year old little boy.

This stunning "coexistence quilt" utilizes a piece of Bedouin embroidery as the central element.   The turquoise and the maroon seem to go together so beautifully! On the two sides, you can see the quilting design called "building blocks" which symbolize the building blocks of a shared future together -- between Palestinians and Jews -- here in Israel.

Wonderful Success!

The Fair at Kol Haneshama last week was an overwhelming success!  Thank you to all our friends who came and bought items from our stand!  We sold pram blankets, diaper pads, and even one little doll blanket with a tiny pillow!  People also marveled at the coexistence quilts!

Table Runners

We sold a quilt and a table runner yesterday!  It is so satisfying when other people appreciate the work that we are doing!  One woman especially liked the bold colors.

Here are two new table runners, both integrating Bedouin embroidery --

one using purples and pinks,

and another one in green, orange and brown.
