Happy Holidays!!

I made these place mats for my New York daughter and her family for the holidays!!!  Shhh!  They haven't seen these yet since they are away visiting relatives in Chicago!!

Tote Bags

I've been away from my favorite Bernina sewing machine which does wonderful quilting!  Please don't get me wrong, I don't mean to insult my wonderful Viking sewing machine which has lots of bells and whistles!  I have been making great tote bags as gifts, using the different settings on the Viking, and I've been having lots of fun!

Pillowcase

This is Hana's latest piece!  She makes things with soft and subtle colors.

This square highlights a beautiful piece of Bedouin embroidery. I made this as a gift for a friend in Atlanta, and it is meant to jazz up her dining room table! I hope she likes lots of colors!

A New Scrappy Quilt

Amy just finished this double-bed quilt, made in the scrappy style, as a present for her sister's new home on Sanibel Island.  Hope you like the bold colors!

T-shirt Quilt

Hana made this stunning t-shirt quilt for her oldest granddaughter.  She can use this to cuddle up when reading on her bed!  It is soft and comfy! If you look close, you can tell where this granddaughter lives!

New Table Runner

This table runner is brand new! It includes three pieces of Bedouin embroidery from the women at the Center for Bedouin Embroidery, Laquiya, in the northern Negev.  I love their work and enjoy integrating their pieces into my work!

New Crib Quilt

Here's another new quilt.  This one is crib size, with lots of colors, emphasis on purple!  You can see that I like purple! Made out of 4 1/2 inch squares.

Getting Back into the Saddle

It's been a long time and I've really missed quilting!  Now that I am finally getting back into it, here's my latest little girl quilt!!!

It's made with 7 1/2" squares, lots of purples and greens, and measures 45 X 56" (appropriate for a toddler bed).
